Ordering & Delivery Information

All monetary transactions will be processed in GBP.
We endeavour to deliver all items purchased through the cafebronte.com site to mainland UK customers within 3 working days. Prices include delivery to mainland UK addresses. The carrier will require a valid signature on delivery.
In the unlikely event of there being a delay we will contact you either by e-mail or by telephone.
Our credit card payment processor is Protx. Your credit card details will be processed on their secure server.

Terms & Conditions

These are the Terms and Conditions which apply to your purchase of biscuits or cookies ("Goods") from the Café Bronte web site at www.cafebronte.com (the "Website / Service").

The Website and Goods are provided by Paterson Arran Limited, a company registered in Scotland with a registered office at The Royal Burgh Bakery, Livingston, EH54 5DN and company number SC160041 ("we", "us", "our"). When we refer to "you" and "your" we mean the user of the Website and purchaser of Goods.

These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding contract between us and you. Your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is given when you purchase Goods from us. You should read these Terms and Conditions carefully before buying anything from this Website.

We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions under which the Website and the Goods are provided. Any such change in Terms and Conditions will be effective to all new orders once included in the text of these Terms and Conditions and published on the Website. You should check the terms and conditions posted on the Website periodically to ensure that you are aware of and comply with the current version.

We endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours. Please be aware that our working days are Monday to Friday inclusive.

You make an offer to purchase a product from us (your "Order") by completing the staged process on the Website.

Your Order only constitutes an offer to purchase Goods from us, and does not form a binding contract until accepted by us.

We must receive full payment of the price of the Goods before we can accept any offers.
You select to pay by credit or debit card and we process the payment at the time of preparing your Goods for despatch. An order confirmation email will be generated which includes details of the order.

All prices and charges on the Website are in UK pounds sterling. Delivery charges for mainland Britain are included.

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Deliveries outside of mainland Britain will be subject to appropriate delivery charges.

Returns/Refunds Policy

In the case of any issue with the Goods delivered please contact sales@cafebronte.com
within 24 hours. The Order must then be returned in full in its original packaging within 5 working days. We will arrange collection of Goods to be returned. The return will be at our cost if it is as a result of our error. Compensation will be made on receipt of the returned goods in the form of either (a) replacement Goods being sent to you at no extra cost or (b) full refund to the payment card used in the purchase transaction.

Replacement or alternative items will be processed as promptly as possible, but please be aware that it may take up to 5 working days to issue the item.

Privacy policy

We are committed to responsible data management and subscribe to the principals of the data protection legislation in the United Kingdom. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of our users and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland and you herby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
